Questions.

I hate to admit it. But the past few years I have questioned my faith in my heavenly father.....In my heart I had faith in him.....but I struggled tho wrap my head around that....if that makes any since. I just didn't under stand for me to do everything I was asked of from him....why I wasn't getting what I most wanted. I just couldn't understand what I had done wrong. I felt I was being punished.

I would see people around me that were amazing people, where going through such tough trials. Then I felt the people that just didn't care were being so blessed. Its bad I know to even think that....but I have struggled with that the past few years.

Lately I have been working towards moving on with my life....and to just see what comes....instead of dwelling on what I am not getting. Since I have been thinking this way.....the past few months have just been wonderful. I have been so happy, and feel like aton of bricks have been removed from my shoulders. Why did I even question my heavenly father when he has blessed me with my savior Jesus Christ.

Most of all how did I feel he didn't bless me, When he has given me the biggest blessing of all....Jeff and being able to be sealed to him for all time and eternity.

I have been truly blessed and have been given so much. I am so glad I have come to realize this, so that all my blessing wont go to waste.

California Girl in Arizona.

I grew up in Kelseyville Ca. About seven years ago my family moved to Arizona. I was really excited about the move. I had never been here and I was boy crazy and figured there would be more boys in AZ then the small town I grew up in lol I was right! I met this cute boy.........

SWOON! And convinced him to marry me :)

One big shocker moving to AZ is the bugs and wild life.....No joke its seems everything is super sized and poisonous here!

Example 1:
Before I met Jeff I lived at home. I came home from work late one night and was locked out of the house. My sister was still up watching T.V....... so I got her attention from the front window, for her to let me in. She came smiling and joking that she wouldn't let me in.....after a few minutes of that. She turned on the porch light looked down at my feet through the window and saw this......

I of course didn't know it was there until her eyes got big and she pointed down at my feet! It was right next to me.....I hate spiders!....and I seriously thought these things only existed in pet stores until that moment. I proceeded to scream at her to let me in....and she didn't for awhile, because she was rather happy the door was separating her from that......I still have not really forgiven her for that moment :) A house spider super sized in AZ?

Example 2:
When Jeff was at work one night I was cleaning our house and ran into this guy....

He was just chilling on the family room floor....who knew such a little thing could send a 26 year old women flying onto her couch screaming.....and talking to herself about how this has to happen when her husband is at work...... I would like you to know.....I didn't relocate him.....I smashed him with a shoe....I hope this got to his friends that they are not welcome inside the DeMoss house.

Example 3:
Last night Jeff and I came home after looking at our new house. We had the trash can sitting in the driveway and Jeff went to move it into the street for the trash guy to come the next morning......Me being me talking his ear off stayed out side while he was doing this. I watched him start rolling it then saw something under it. At first I thought it was a piece of trash, But then I realized it was this......

I gasped as I watched him step right over it....there just wasn't enough time for me to say something. Then I shouted "BABE" and pointed (I know alot of help right....when he is standing right next to a rattle snake!) I'm not kidding he almost stepped on it wearing flip flops Cringe! Thanks to our wonderful fire department....they came and got this little baby rattle snake and relocated him.....and to answer your question..YES..I now look at the floor when I walk everywhere!

I'm really hoping I don't have anymore experiences like these....once was enough :) To my mom I am sorry, I know you don't appreciate the pictures in this post.

Pink nail polish and testimonies.

Today my cute little nephew Zachary was blessed. It was a wonderful and special day.

I know...he is so adorable that he makes your heart melt!

After the blessing we had a luncheon at my brothers house. The whole family was there. It was alot of fun to be together. I brought some nail polish to paint the girls nails. I enjoy doing it and they love it. I was painting the girls nails and this convo came up. I get asked these questions alot from children, so I am used to it....but I just loved the conversation these little girls were having so I thought I would share :) They range from the age 9-almost 3.

Gina: Do you have any babies?

Me: No, I don't have any babies yet.

Gina: Do you want a baby.

Me: Yes I do (said with a smile)

Sierra: Do you like babies?

Brianna: Yes! She loves them

Sierra: Well, Why don't you just make a baby.

Me: Well, Aunt Sarah has a hard time making a baby, And heavenly father hasn't blessed me with one yet.

Sophie: (My almost 3 year old niece with a very concerned look on her face) Well you can have a pretty baby.

Me: I hope so sophie :)

Kenzie: You will have lots of babies when heavenly father gives you one.

Sierra: Maybe if you pray really hard, Heavenly father will send you one.

Me: I try to pray everyday, I know He will send one, one day.

Sierra: Well I will pray really hard for you too.

I'm such a lucky girl to have nieces that love me so much. I am truly blessed. Love them all!

Lets B-rad.

I have a brother named Brad. I like to call him B-rad. He is the brother just older than me. He is my best buddy. I think if we could move both our families into one big house together...we would be pretty happy campers. But I don't think that would ever happen lol.

When we were kids we had a love hate relationship....He loved to drive me nuts and I loved to get him in trouble. We almost never got along....But when we did....we always had a great time.

It doesn't look like we changed much......... Except now we have a love love relationship.

My Grandma Miller

In August 2009 my Grandma Miller passed away. I have been thinking about her alot today and wanted to write a post about her. She was one great grandma. I have so many great memories of her....but it would be one long post if I went through them all. So I will just share a few.

My grandma miller made the best tuna sandwich you have ever tasted.....I don't know what she did to it....but it was always a treat when I visited her.

We would go to beach board walk in Santa Cruz. We would hang out at the beach and get to choose one ride to go on. We always had a good time

I think I saw all the Disney movies that came out when I was little with her. We would go to the movie theatre in the mall and after the show, she would take me to buy a Disney shirt of the movie we just watched.

She taught me how to read. She had such patience with me. She was a great teacher.

My grandparents had all these Halloween costumes from over the years. She would let my sister and I dress up then she would let us do a fashion show for her.

She had a huge drawer of jewelry. She would pull out the whole drawer, put it on the bed and my sister and I would just sit and look at it for hours.

A month before she passed away. Jeff and I were able to make a trip to California. This was to be the first time Jeff would meet my Grandma and Grandpa Miller. I was so excited to see them after three years. She may never know it but this memory meant the world to me. She treated Jeff like he has always been one of her grandchildren. We went to breakfast and Jeff helped her out of the car. She held his hand all the way into the building with a beautiful smile on her face. I will never forget that moment. She always treated people with kindness. In my heart I knew it was the last time I got to spend time with her on this earth. I hugged her so hard that day that she almost lost her balance. I just didn't want to let go.

I have a picture of her on my desk at work. So many people Stop and say wow you look just like her. I never realized how similar we actually do look. It makes me smile!

I miss her dearly, She was one amazing women, I am so grateful for all the things she has taught me and for all the many memories she has given me. I love you grandma.

100 things about me!

My best girlie who is also my cousin did this on her blog. It was really fun to read....alot of it I already knew about her....but some I didn't. So to cure some boredom, I figured I would do it too.

1. I have a love for Cow Creamers.....I think they are adorable.
2. My favorite color is pink....any shade...I just love pink.

Pure Excitement!

Jeff and I have been working hard these past few years to pay off bills and save for one of our dreams......a House. After years of waiting and dreaming. I am very happy to announce we are building a house! We are beyond excited.

Here is the place of our future home!

We have been house hunting these past few months. Hoping we would get pre-approved this year. One Saturday morning  a few weeks ago I just mentioned to Jeff......That on the way home from the fire station one day I saw these model homes I wanted to see. We didn't have much planned that day....so we figure what the heck lets just go look. Well we fell in love. It was the only house we both just loved. We love everything about it. We talked to the people and were starting to realize that this might really happen. We found out today that we are approved and they are going to start building in a couple of weeks!

It is the perfect location. It is half way between the two fire stations that Jeff works at. We will be close to our family and friends. We are looking forward to these next busy months. The house should be done in September.

We have found a new love for DIY network and have talked about the things we want to do to it, until we are tired of hearing ourselves talk. We are truly blessed. When its done....we will invite you all for a party! lol
